Happy Birthday Tracey!

Rachel has been helping me over the past month or so. She has been doing a wonderful job and she is the most beautiful, sweet girl. And I have known her sisters Emily and Alana for years through ballet. So when Rachel and I were talking about doing some fun shoots, I asked if the three of them would like to be my guinea chicks... Then... as it was but a few weeks until their mother's birthday, we decided it would make a perfect surprise gift. So Tracey... Happy Birthday. You have three absolutely amazing daughters and I am so happy to know them all... And thank you Rachel, Emily and Alana for a great afternoon!!!

The Bermuda Festival - Heather Nova

It has been a mad 24 hours, so I did not get a chance to edit more of these. I went to Heather Nova's sound check yesterday. She is performing tonight with Chewstick as part of the Bermuda Festival. Just listening to her briefly almost brought me to tears - I am a bit worried I will be in a flood of tears tonight. But they will be happy tears - her voice is just beautiful. And her accompanist Arnulf Linder will be playing several string instruments including the cello and double bass. I'll post a few more photos next week...

And the Winner is...

Actually I am not going to tell you who yet...
But I want to thank everyone who entered for inspiring me. There were lots of wonderful submissions so it was incredibly difficult to choose. But after much deliberation, I have selected a winner.
We will hopefully do the shoot in the next couple weeks, so stay tuned for the images...

The Gabriel Family

I first met Rodney and Sonya when Christian was just 8 days old. He was a tiny little ball of love and now, he has turned into a bigger ball of love. We had planned to go to Stonehole Bay, but the Regiment had it sealed off, so we went down to Horseshoe instead. I tend not to shoot there as it is always so busy, but as it was a weekday it was virtually deserted. We wandered through a path I'd never been on and the light was soft and beautiful. Thank you for a lovely afternoon...
