A Morning at the Beach...

Brooklyn is two and, like most two year olds is wonderfully animated, spritely and very determined. Laura and Christian were keen to capture this vivacious age and to have some photos of the three of them together before their family grows so that Brooklyn will have some photos to look back on when they were just three. They all love spending time at Mid Ocean - Christian gets the golf course and Laura and Brooklyn get the ocean. Laura has fond memories of her own childhood on the beach and is happy to be living here again so that Brooklyn can have a similar childhood.
It was lovely to meet you all and to capture your giggles and cuddles...

Itty Bitty Baby

Judith decided to come early; two months early much to her parents surprise. So she spent her first five weeks in the hospital. Finally, she was able to come home and now Susan and Paschal are overjoyed to have their little family together at last. I normally prefer to photograph babies when they are sleeping as when they are tiny they wiggle so. But Judith was awake - wide awake and really had no intention of sleeping with a visitor there. So Susan cradled her, and gently rocked her and finally, after almost an hour Judith drifted off for a few minutes. So today Susan brought Judith to me to have another go. And again, it took a while but our patience did pay off as nothing is more adorable than a sleeping baby.
Here are a few of our last session and I'll post a few from today's shoot soon...

Playing in the Mud

At five and two, Trystan and Sadie certainly keep their parents on their toes. They can get into their fair share of mischief as was the case at our shoot. All was going well, we wandered around the grounds... and then they found a hose. It became a great game to spray each other - and us - I even had to hop away a few times to spare my camera. Good thing Anna Laura brought a change of clothes as by the end, they were both soaked and covered in mud. Thank you all for a great morning; chasing Trystan and Sadie was such fun...
