Kristen & Eamon: Bermuda Wedding Photographers

It was the most glorious cloudless day. The weather has been gorgeous for weeks, with not a drop of rain. Which is not great for our tanks or our gardens, but great for shooting. I arrived at Kristen's room and she was completely ready! This is pretty rare, but I was so grateful as it gives me lots of time to shoot.

Her beautiful peony bouquet is by Petals and shoes by Kate Spade.

Watching Kristen with her niece was adorable; I have no idea what was being whispered, but her coy expressions were divine.

And these two were just lovely together. I was shooting Eamon with his best man, but noticed the girls playing together off to the side.

The ceremony was at St Michael's church in Paget, just inside the front there is a magnificently carved wooden door framing two sets of curved steps that lead into the church.

My favourite moment of a wedding is watching the groom greet his bride. His face as she approaches and the little gestures and looks that they exchange once by her side...

The wedding was planned by Nikki at Bermuda Bride - this is the bumper and license plate of her van. I just love reflections...

After the ceremony, the guests headed back to the hotel for a bit before the reception, giving me some time alone with the newlyweds. The bridge at the hotel was being repaired so we were diverted to come through this gate which is normally closed.

I took a few photos of Kristen on her own at the beach and left Eamon in the shade, only to return and find him having a snooze. "Seriously?" she said with a smile. Then joined him...

The reception dinner was at The Ocean Club at the Fairmont Southampton. The dining room has glass doors all along the west wall letting in the wonderful, soft afternoon light.

Their friends and family joined them for cocktails on the terrace overlooking the beach, before heading in for supper. Thank you both so much for letting me share your day; it was a pleasure to capture your joy!
