Laura & Tom: Bermuda Wedding

Laura and Tom's wedding was the most perfect wedding I have photographed in a very long time! It was the most glorious day - not too hot, low humidity, and not a cloud in the sky. Tuckers Point Hotel and Beach Club are gorgeous and the details were amazing... but most importantly I had a stunning bride and a handsome groom who adore each other.
Thank you for the honour of being part of your beautiful wedding...

I love this little pig, it really seems as if he is checking out Laura's Bandolino shoes. Her elegant gown was designed by Romana Keveza, a New York designer who creates timeless couture dresses inspired by old Hollywood glamour. As soon as Laura saw this dress, she was sure Tom would love it. And she was right, the day after the wedding he told her that he loved it.

Laura is extremely close to her mother, aunt and grandmother. They call themselves "The Beautitudes" and make annual trips together to celebrate being together and enjoying life. Particularly amazing for her 83 year old grandmother. They all gathered together to help Laura get ready, they spent the day at the spa and when I arrived they all so calm and were happily sipping Champagne.

Tom and Laura decided to see each other before the ceremony. I love doing this as it gives couples a few moments together to cuddle, and talk without an audience.

The light in the hotel courtyard was just divine and the perfect secluded spot for all the photographs. I spent a few minutes with Tom and Laura on their own, then all their family joined for the group portraits. This worked beautifully, as the ceremony and reception were all in one spot down by the beach, it would be difficult to go off after the ceremony.

The reception dinner was set up on the lawn at the Beach Club. The flowers were exquisite; the bouquets and table arrangements were created by GiMi.
