Katie & Patrick are Engaged!

Katie and Patrick live next door, so it was lovely to walk across my garden to meet up for our shoot and wander down to our shared shore. Their cat Tucker likes to venture out and has made friends with my two. He is often at my house to frolic so it was no surprise that he followed us to the beach.
Thank you for a lovely evening. I don't descend the hill nearly as often as I would like...

Shelly's Lumiere Session

"Amanda has been photographing myself, my family and my artwork for more than 20 years. We have been scheming a Lumiere session for over a year. It was so much fun to plan out where we would go, what I would wear, the overall theme and sense of the shoot. It was all quite frivolous, feminine and fantastic really. The day was beautiful, the light perfect and the water was warm. I was sorry for it to end. To me, it was an excuse to play with my lifelong friend, support her passion and talent and to treat myself to something decadent. Highly recommended!"

Thank you Shelly - not only was if fun to do this shoot with you, it was wonderful to have you stay for a few days. For me, our leisurely morning chats were a true decadence!

The Pink Balloons

Desiree has had quite a summer with her growing belly, and at the last minute decided she would love to have some photographs to remember this magical time. So with just a few weeks to go we managed to squeeze in a shoot. I edited this one photo before the rest in the hopes that I have made it in time before your daughter arrives...

Snez and JM

Snez and JM are expecting twin girls in a few weeks so stopped by to capture her beautiful belly before the big day. I wrapped her in velvet which I think Snez thought was a crazy idea given that it was almost 90°. But I thought the yellow would be perfect for her colouring and the vegetation in the grotto. Thank you for going along with it - I think you look stunning!
