The Durhagers at Home

I had not really seen Peter in years and then while I was working on my book, Tapestry of Tales, I decided that it would be interesting to include the people who now live in the houses I had previously lived in. I contacted Peter and he thought it was a wonderful idea, so I went to visit a couple of times and photographed Peter and his younger daughter, Meg, who's bedroom was mine as a child. It was strange to see the house again - it is amazing how many memories came flooding back. It was incredibly familiar, but over the years Peter and Ann have made quite a few changes so it was totally different too.
When I was pre-selling the book to assist with the publishing costs, one of the perks I had offered was a photo shoot. Ann decided it would be a lovely idea to capture the whole family at home too. So this first series of images are from our shoot this summer and at the end are a few photos from the book.
Thank you all for such a wonderful shoot and for your kindness and support of my book!
