The Powell family

On the morning of the Powell's shoot it was pouring with rain. Laurel asked if it would be ok to go ahead as the kids were so excited and thought it would be great to break out the wellies and brollies. So I agreed as I am always excited to do different things. I had lined up an umbrella holder for me to protect my cameras and we moved the shoot up a bit so it would not be too dark. As we arrived though, the sky cleared and it turned into a beautiful day. We did a few with the puddles in the parking area, then wandered down to the beach for a sunny shoot. They had brought floaties, which were perfect as they kept Tristen and Ty wonderfully amused. It was important to Lauren and Travis that the shoot was fun for them so rather than a formal portrait, they were happy for them to run free and play. She wanted to capture this magical time in their lives - while Tristen adores her little brother and Ty thinks that Tristen is the funniest, most interesting person in the world.
Thank you all for a great shoot, I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did...

Erin & Rob: Bermuda Weddings

Rob and Erin have been together for five years. Last year, on Christmas Eve, Erin gave Rob a Labrador puppy and Rob gave Erin an engagement ring. What a fantastic Christmas they must have had!
They spent several months searching for the perfect place to have their wedding. And as Erin's mother is not keen on flying, they decided to take a cruise and marry barefoot in Bermuda. The morning of the wedding they were in Hamilton and found GiMi flowers who made Rob's boutonniere and Erin's lovely bouquet. With her flowers, she carried a small bible that has been held by every female in her family for the last five generations. Those marriages have all lasted so Erin is sure the book is a good luck charm.
I hope you all had a wonderful time on the island and I am sure you two will be incredibly happy together... thank you for the pleasure of capturing your wedding day...

Mirelle

Mirelle has been living in Bermuda for several years but is now moving on. She has had a wonderful time living here and made some close friends, so she wanted to have some portraits taken to remember them all as she treasures the valuable friendships she has made. I hope your move goes well and that you will be very happy in your new home...
