Melanie & Scott: Bermuda Wedding

Each Memorial day weekend there is a sailboat race from Hyannis to Nantucket known as the Figawi race. At the finish all the boats are tied up together. Melanie happened to glance up and saw Scott two boats over looking at her. Shortly afterwards, when getting off the boat, she was greeted by Scott who offered his assistance. She declined and that was that. Later that evening, Bob, a crew member on the neighbouring boat said he was curious to see Scott's boat. He went off and returned a while later with Scott in tow and they were heading up to the yacht club's bar. He looked at Melanie and said with a smile, "You need to come with us." So she did...
Planning a beach wedding in December is a risky thing to do, but obviously these two had faith that it would be perfect. And perfect it was, it was warm and sunny and one of the calmest days in ages.
Thank you both for a lovely afternoon, it was a pleasure to photograph your lovely wedding...
