Nathan and Melissa exchanged vows at the Unfinished Church in St Georges. It is one of my favourite places to shoot, but I was rather worried that their ceremony was at 11am. But the light was just divine; there were lovely shadows and the sun shone through the arches and in through the top of the roofless structure. The mixture of Bermuda limestone and mottled yellow brick is wonderful and casts a warm glow over the whole interior.
Following the ceremony, we went to John Smith's Bay and Melissa braved the sea. It is still far too cold for my liking, but she took a deep breath or two and marched in. Nathan, though a little more reluctant, did finally follow his new wife for some salty cuddles and kisses. Thank you both for an absolutely wonderful day...

beauty-full wedding - they must be thrilled with the magic you captured. xx
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is....AMAZING! Amanda you captured the essence of the day so accurately. Your photos are so beautiful. Thank you for your wonderful talent. You certainly have been blessed with a true artistic gift.
ReplyDeleteWhen I finally knew I was getting married in Bermuda, I didn’t look for my wedding dress; I didn’t flip through magazines of designer cakes, or shop around for the perfect invitation. If I was going to get married any day in Bermuda it would have to be a day that you were able to be my photographer. It was so important for Nathan and I to be able to bring the experience from our small intimate wedding back home to share with those who could not be there. Our memories might fade around the edges but these photos never will, and will be a constant reminder of the day that we were both at our best. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteYou are truly a beautiful person.
