It started as a crush... Jeffrey was 22 and Lindsay was just 14. It was the summer holiday and she would be rudely awoken as early as 7:30am by Jeffrey and a couple of his friends as they were repairing on her roof. At first she was furious but then she noticed the cute older guy and her fury turned to joy. He too thought she was cute, but upon finding out her age that was the end of that... for ten years anyway. They reconnected through Facebook and slowly began emailing and talking. In August 2008 Jeff moved back to New York, and in December Lindsay followed. They have been together ever since.
They have always had an attachment to the ocean and with Jeffrey's sister living in Bermuda, they have formed an attachment to the island too. Jeffrey's grandfather and brother both sailed in the Newport to Bermuda yacht race and both times Jeffrey sailed the boats back to the US. So the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club was the perfect location for their rehearsal dinner.
Their wedding was the following day on the terrace overlooking Hamilton Harbour at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. Thank you both for the honour of being a part of your beautiful wedding. Lindsay, you were just stunning and Jeffrey, oh so dapper, and you were both an absolute pleasure to photograph.
Lindsay's beautiful gown was by Monique Lhuillier. Sadly though, the zip had a malfunction, so Bior, the hotel's wedding planner, laboriously and lovingly sewed her in. Lindsay stood patiently, and amazingly she remained calm and graceful when many a bride would have lost the plot. I do wonder however the measures required to get out again - probably also a labour of love...
