"We met through a chance encounter in Halifax, Nova Scotia two and a half years ago, and what an INCREDIBLE few years it has been! It is hard to believe that this is just the beginning of the rest of our lives together ...
In our first year together we travelled as much as we could and also enjoyed kayaking and hiking throughout the maritimes. In April, 2016 we planned or next adventure to two of our favourite places; France and Italy. We arrived in the city of love where Jedd was full of surprises and he proposed to me in the most romantic setting on the Alexander Bridge! It was truly magical, as was the rest of our trip.
Just when we thought that our lives and our hearts couldn't be any fuller, that we couldn't possibly feel any more happiness then we already did, we were blessed with our son, Oliver, in April, 2017. He has been our greatest and most exciting adventure yet; and our hearts continue to expand!
We wanted to get married and have an intimate wedding after Oliver was born and Bermuda was the ideal location, as we had heard spectacular things from friends and family about this beautiful little island that was just a short distance away.
With our cutest little best man just six months new (and my parents as surprise guests), off to Bermuda for our wedding we went. We had planned to get married on Tuesday, October 17th, but gale force winds and torrential rain forced us to change it to the following day! There was more rain in the morning but the sun made it's only appearance during our ceremony, we became husband and wife in the most beautiful place we could have imagined, and it was the most perfect day possible.
The only thing that would have made this moment even more spectacular would have been having all of our family and friends there to help us celebrate. For everyone who was in our hearts and not able to be there, we know that the pictures capture so beautifully our love for one another and our commitment to one another as husband and wife and as a family."
