Each time I visit the Dispenza's in New Jersey I do a family photo for them; but as they are coming to Bermuda this summer and want to do a beach shoot, we decided to do some fun things with just Nicole and Matthew. They live in Westfield, which is a gorgeous old town with quiet, tree lined streets and beautiful Georgian homes.
We did a few in the town center too... We had been at this spot the day before and there was a dramatic shadow on the wall from the fire escape overhead, but sadly the sun was too low this time. Nicole was a little shy as some of the passers-by were watching us - one girl actually walked into a signpost. She was unharmed but probably terribly embarrassed as her friends heckled her.
I met Steve in New York on Thursday and driving back from the city we passed this derelict paper mill not far from their house - so we ventured there too. Jill was such a trouper driving us everywhere...
I noticed these groovy boots in their mudroom and when picking outfits for Nicole to wear for the shoot, these were a must!
On the way home we noticed this wonderful shadow. It meant trespassing, but I think it was worth the risk...
Matthew was amazing - so patient with me as I had him move all over the house and garden...
He loves the guitar, and has both acoustic and electric. It was great to watch him play...
Thank you all for another lovely visit - and for a great shoot!
